Stock Head Unit 2004 1500 QC

Hey Guys!
Does anyone have info on how to remove the stock head unit in a 2004 QC? I want to upgrade to a newer system. Also I have wiring codes for most models if anyone needs them.

hey man, on your truck what you'll have to do is remove the front cover....basically the plastic around the radio. Once you do that there will either be a couple of screws or clips holding in the radio. Its a pretty simple one to do. If you need instructions in further detail, i can help you out. Ive been doing stereos for 5 years now, so if you have any audio questions let me know.

Thanks man! I will take a look at this, this weekend. I still have not decided on what unit I want. Just something simple that is better than my stock unit.
