Hard start problem with 05' Hemi

Hi,
My name is nolan and i am fairly new to the site. I purchased a 05 ram 4x4 Hemi in late janaury of this year, the problem is that when i go to start it sometimes it will start momentarily then die, then it will just crank over without starting. but when i open the accelerator about a 1/4 of the way open it starts immediatly every time. Has anyone else had problems with their hemi doing this? does anyone have suggestions as to it mite be? I thought it mite be a fuel delivery problem but i mite be wrong. any help would be greatly appreciated.:confused:

Hey Nolan welcome to the site. I've not encountered this issue. Have you talked to your local dealer?

hey i have an 05 ram 1500 to mines a 2wd i just got done fixing the same problem.
its a common problem with the 05's
its the egr valve yours sounds like it could be stuck closed
after you check that its likely that our 02 sensors are going out
.. ihad noticed a slight delay in the acceleration befor this problem started
