Just curious -- are there anti sway bars for the RAM 1500?

Anything else to tighten up the suspension --
seems to me theres a lot of body roll, bouncy-ness in the 1500 quad cab --

any suggestions?

I hear ya....I get a lot of steering wheel movement over bumps or rough terrain and my girlfriends old man get the same thing in his aspen....it seems to be a norm for chysler suv's and trucks

Just changed the rear shocks and front strut's in my '08. So far it seems to have helped nicely. Am heading to OK this weekend and will let you know if there was a major difference in the ride...

A single steering stabilizer upgrade, or double if your running bigger tires might help as well. Pretty cheap kits.

Shock upgrade as mentioned above as well.

Can you recommend a kit? They sold my truck as the "TEXAS EDITION" with bigger wheels and tires, so maybe this is what I need to "stabilize" the beast -- I don't mind a TAUT ride -- I just don't like the "bouncy" ride -- feels like a buckin' bronco, but the newer trucks are much improved I hear. (actually one of my sons has an '09, and has driven both - the '09s are much more "car -like")

I would either do the procomp kit or the rancho kit. With the stabilizer kits its pretty much up to the shock brand you like. The brackets are simple and are all similar. I have used the procomp kits and the fabtech kits. Your probably looking under 80 bucks or so for the kit.
