Who's stupid idea....

was to design the bed and tailgate caps to clip on like an interior panel? They look great! but a clip was broken off of my tailgate cap at age 3 days... And of course it was the clip on the end, not a middle one. It's a truck guys, things are going to get slid in and out, it's the whole purpose...

Oh well, replacement was only $15. I should gotten 2 just to have a spare because I'm pretty confident this will break again.

i agree..they suck! my spray in liner was sprayed in underneath the cap and now it won't stick down on either side. guess i'll have to trim each side to keep them snapped in??

yeah, mine fell off the first week, the dealership ordered an updated one for me, hasn't fallin off since

I had LIne-x sprayed in my bed and they removed the rail caps to ensure good coating. I didn't notice any missing so I'm guessing they re-installed all the fasteners without breaking them. Hopefully they stay that way.

There was an RRT for that in 09.

i have an 09 that came with the Mopar bed liner and haven't had any problems with it.
