you can get stock plug in harness at dealer ( it way over priced ) Mopar gives it with 2500 / 3500 trucks but not 1500, it plugs in under dash , ( they are usually in glove box in trucks on the lot ??? )

I bought the Tekonsha P3. From the reviews that I was reading, it is the best out there. Got it from www.etrailer.com (http://www.etrailer.com), for around 160. It came with the correct Dodge adapter plug, so you don't have to connect each wire individually. Haven't used it yet as I just bought it. The P3 will control electric and electric over hydraulic brakes. The LCD screen is great. Much more information is displayed than on the other controllers.
