This morning I went out to take my dog to the vet in my truck, and the check engine light came on immediately. Worse yet, the air conditioning didn't work; it blew, but not cold.

Any ideas where to start? It didn't throw the belt.

Cycle the ignition key ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON and see what P-codes are displated in the odometer, then post it here.

I did the On-0ff-On-Off-On and got just the odometer reading. I then checked under the hood again and found the coolant to be a little bit low, so i put some in. No change on the Check Engine light.

Is there a way to reset the light, such as taking off a battery terminal? With two batteries, which one do I disconnect?

The issue is the AC. It was 111 yesterday, supposed to be 113 today.

It turns out that coyotes chased the cats into the engine compartment and tore the wires off the turbo and the AC high pressure side. $3,000 repair bill.
