i have a 06 mega cab wth the towing package,i'm hearing that a electrical fan is better than a crank fan.
really what is the difference, especially if the truck already has the rads for the towing portion.
anyone ?

If you have the HEMI, the A/C condensor is located off to the left with it's own fan, while the radiator, trans. and P/S coolers are towards the right with the mechanical clutch fan handling that. A seperate aftermarket electric fan, while not necessary, does help a little. 5.9L diesel has an electric clutch mechanical fan on the engine, with a conventional radiator/coolers/condensor arrangement.
