Okay, new here and feel a bit silly about posting this as a first question, but ...

... anyone have a source for the OEM front license plate bracket/mount for a non-sport 2009 Ram 1500? Supposed to "come with", but dealer says no since no front plates required here.

... will an '08 bracket fit?

... it's one of those little things; could just use the two bumper holes, but it makes for a bit of floppy in the wind at speed.

I searched and searched and really didn't find anything, I even tried to get he dealer to find me one and order one but was told they didn't exist for the 09 Ram. So I just went to Advanced Auto and they had some universal brackets that worked just fine.

This was hard for me to find. but I got it. You should have square holes in the bumper. These take the white snap in nuts. just go to any parts store and get them and matching screws, then mount the plate. I see no bracket available for the Non-Sport of Sport models. Just the screws, nuts, and some sort of pad, I guess to prevent the plate from scratching the bumper???

All that I received from the dealer when I bought my 09 was a set of 4 screws, 2 plastic inserts, and a piece of foam with adhesive on one side. They installed my temp. tag and handed me the little plastic bag with the inserts and other screws. I have a relatively heavy aluminum name plate that I put on the front and I have not had any trouble out of it. I placed the foam at the bottom of the plate so that it would not hit the bumper.
