installed a 'drop in' style K & N air filter two weeks ago. noticed improved throttle response instantly. also more power in msd mode. i am now getting 15.8 mpg city driving. i have about 10k use mobil1. i tend to have a heavy foot also, mpg prob be better with lighter foot. for roughly 57$ i would recomend to anyone. hemi bighorn ed qc

Is that a cold air intake K&N? Where do you find it for $59. Is that for the complete housing and filter that is rerouted to a low point in the engine compartment, or just a replacement filter in the original housing? I have been looking to do the same thing, but the price has been in the $300 range from Pep Boys or other auto parts shops.

this is just a stock replacement 'drop in' . goes in place of stock air filter

Sounds like a good investment. The air filter case on mine broke at the hinges, so I may just as well go the next step and get the cold air intake and cone filter, since I have to replace the whole case anyway. Hopefully I can find it cheaper than $300 though!

check out the cold air intake kit from mopar parts. i think its cheaper and prob just as good if not better. i may be tradeing the ram in and getting a challenger or i would have got one myself!

Thanks for the info on Mopar Parts. I'll give it a try.
