4x4 ?

i've got a 06 mega cab and my 4x4 selector is the knob style on the lower centre consel. it states 2wd - 4loc -4lo.
now, i had an older dodge"99" that had the stick, it said 4high or low then neutral.
this new 4x4 system, where is the 4x4 high, and does 4loc really lock the diffs ups and have a true 4x4 system or is it a cool logo it catch the eye but still the same 4x4 high,,,,and does the 4x4 system in dodge lock up all 4 with a bit of manipulation with the brakes.

4x4 high was renamed 4x4 lock in some applications. Just means the transfer case is locked in 4WD. No seperate locking in diffs.
