Here are the initail tune results for an 09 Ram we have been testing on.

These gains will be representative of what anyone can expect from their canned Predator or Trinity tunes, on 87 octane fuel.

As you can see, the gains are quite impressive, with as much as 40 extra ft/lbs of torque through the middle, and an easy 20 rwhp up top, not to mention the gains of as much as 35 rwhp through the middle of the RPM band.

Enjoy:

93 octane results will be coming soon.

Can this tuner be used and not void the warranty? Can they tell if it was on the truck, if you used it and then took it off?

I too would like to know the answers to GT Motors' questions. Also, as I understand it the 2010 Hemi requires 89 octane gas. Does the programmer work with that? If not, when will one for 2010 Hemi's come out?

I'd also like to know how it affects the mpg.

I'd also like to know how it affects the mpg.Average gains of 1-2 MPGs are seen by most users.

2010 Ram Owner2010s are fully supported by the U7137 Predator and Trinity.

We offer 87 octane and premium fuel tunes as well, with the gains shown above available on 87 octane and even more available with premium fuel.

I dont, but you can be sure the gains are even better, due to the extra timing allowed by the higher octane fuel.

I think that the reply about warranty issues is a little misleading. If you make performance changes to the vehicle Dodge can void your warranty. As stated the programmer will leave no trace, but if it does by some fluke of nature then they will most likely void your warranty. If Diablo was sure this could never happen then they would not have a section 3 in Diablo's own Disclaimer and Warranty information. This section states that if the manufacturer of your vehicle voids your warranty for having a tuner/programmer on, then they (Diablo) is not responsible. So obviously they know there is that chance and it has happened in the past.
It is always a risk and if you have a 2009 it would be a shame (unless you are rich) to lose a lifetime warranty.

I cant tell you how many times I have to ask customers to jump through hoops after they go to the dealership, because they forgot or decided not to restore their stock tune.

Biggest problem you run into is that they just flash you back to stock. Never has someone called here and said, oh, I forgot to put my stock tune back and now I have no warranty, reason being, even with the tune in the PCM, there is NOTHING for them to see....

True, if you choose to modify your vehicle, you are taking certain risks, but this is a non issue.

Thanks
Mike

Might want to do some research on this. Others on several other forums are having issues with this tuner on their 09. Especially with motor knock. Just saying, research is your friend.

We dont touch timing at part throttle, thus I cant see how we could cause part throttle KR.

I realize I'm resurrecting an old thread, but I've got a question.

If you're not touching timing at anything other than WOT, then how are you seeing mileage gains? Are you just leaning the A/F mixture out everywhere else? I'm seriously considering your product for an 87 octane tune to both increase power and gas mileage. Can you explain how you're doing that if you're not touching timing?

What i got to say is my 09 ram does not perfom good in the top end with the diablo. It has been tested been beat by a chevy with the chip went home took it out and smoked him every time . The only thing that i did was leve it stock mode and just change the top out to 150mph. So do you think with a dyno well this fix the top out issue you now how money is tight dont want to wast money on something that well not change much . I build BBQ pits on the side for my play money its hard work. And by the way i want to put in a new touch screen any ideas
