new 09 questions

just got my new 09 CC this week and have some trouble with a few minor things. first is there any adjustment for the EVIC screen (the one in the dash) during the day it's a bitch to see. second I got Nav in it and that screen has a auto dimmer, how does it know when to dim, when the lights turn on? last uconnect phone, is there any way to answer your phone with ONLY your phone, alot of times there are others in the vehicle that don't want to listen to the conversation nor do you want them to hear? I cannot find any info on this and it would be silly not to have it. thanks for the help!

The EVIC screen... The dial that adjusts the dash lights located by the headlight switch. Roll that all the way to the highest setting and then one "click". That will make your evic and radio bright enough to see during the day. Basically the same setting full time as when the headlights are on.

I tried this and the screen doesn't get any brighter. I have the nav screen for the radio so that is a seperate function. ????

now that it's dark that switch does make the dash brighter, but I had it on that setting all along, its just not bright enough for me during the day. gotta live with it i guess, thanks

you should be able to disable the bluetooth connection on your phone when you receive a call; therefore isolating the conversation to your handheld, not your vehicle.

My phone has a cancel button on it, so u can answer the phone on your handset if you desire privacy, most phones I have seen with bluetooth have that option.
