Ugrade Tires , has anyone thought about it ?

I've looked at OEM tires and compared to what is out there , see
tirerack.com
I find that my tire wall seems to give out on corners and what I see on the rating for our tires ( Goodyear Wrangler HP ) rate basically poor
I'm looking at Firestone Destination A/T or Peirelli Scorpion ATR
Anybody made changes to tires out there?

I've always used Pirelli's and have have good luck with 'em holding up. Expensive bastards tho.
