I have a 2004 dodge 1500 5.7L hemi wat is the best performance chip do yall perfer, someone also said somethin about a tune up and is that better than the chip its self?

your truck would use a programmer instead of a chip/ not shure on the specifics but around the late 90 s gov mandate all pass vech "ecu" be of the programable type. not even called ecu s ant more. allthough i think there are still some piggyback chips that can be installed (in line). these dont alter the "ecu" they just intercept the signal and manipulate it. never as good as a programmer like a diablosport. they down load your current "ecu" program and up load a custom tune. kinda like a jet swap and igniton timing adjust of yesteryear little more complicated tho. search around pretty shure youl find diablosport one of the top programmers for "ma mopar viechles" dodge chrylser etc
