I have a 2008 dodge 2500 that has a hemi in it. Has 53,000 miles on it and is consuming oil badly. chrysler says that this is acceptable up to 1 quart every 750 miles it is right there at that line now and they say that until it gets worse or there are sensors tripping in the computer showing a miss fire or something that there is nothing they will do about it. I think this is a little excessive for oil consumption on what should be a fairly fresh motor.
