Power outlet in dash.

I have a 09 ram slt, i was curious if you can get the power outlet added to your truck from the factory? If so has anybody had this done?

just buy the 2010-there is one built in...

My 09 had that on it when I bought it. I am sure that the dealer can do that for you though.

Thanks tlnasseri. I got a buddy that sales auto parts and he is going to check on it for me. I just think it would be a good thing to have. I just wonder if it is something i can install myself?

I haven't had the dash off my 09 yet, but i would say that if you get the oem part, there should be a bracket to mount the inverter. I am pretty sure that the outlet itself and the power inverter are separate pieces, but shouldn't be too much trouble.

dose yours have button that you have to push to power it? Or is it hot all the time?
