Just acquired an 06 3500 Cummins single wheel 4x2. Runs great, pulls hard. The rear end makes a rythmic noise similar to an old bus. The truck only has 57k on it and is in perfect shape. I jacked up the rear wheels and manually rotated them and all is smooth. I also put it in drive under idle power in the air and the noise is obvious. Anyone had this issue? I suspect there is a gear issue....
