My fuel gauge travels all over the place- sometimes when I fill up it registers full, but usually not. Usually it reads at about a 1/2 tank until I get to the 150-200 mile mark, then starts dropping. When I get to E, I've gone about 350-400 miles, and it takes about 20 gallons to fill back up. Owners manual says this truck has a 35 gallon tank, so... I almost always get down to the low fuel light and I've never put more than 25 gallons in. Any suggestions?

Sounds to me like a bad sending unit. Fairly common. Either drop the tank or lift the front of the bed to access it.
