I have a 2007 quad cab hemi bighorn 4x4. I bought it used with 22000 miles. Love the truck, but when filling the tank I can't let the pump click off or it overflows quite a bit of gas. Thought maybe the first time it was a bad pump, but have tried several different stations, and all have the same result. SPLASH! The only way to stop it is to try to guess a couple of gallons early and "trickle" the rest of the gas in.
Any ideas, kind of annoying, and I don't like gas on my shiny truck!:(
Thanks.

I had the same problem with mine, it was a bad fuel check valve. It was replaced under warranty. Mine was bad from day one. Imagine my frustration, brand new truck and fuel all over... If I recall the dealer replaced the whole tank. Good luck!!!

Thanks for the reply. Have already made an appointment with the dealer. Trying to get everything fixed before warranty expires.

My 07' does the same thing, thanks for posting this I'll definitely look into getting it fixed now that I know it's covered under warranty.

Took the truck into the dealer(with less than 1/4 tank of fuel) and they will be installing a new tank. Haven't yet though, because they said the tanks are back-ordered. Must be many others with this problem. :(
