2010 Ram Owner

I don't know if this is the place for this but I have a serious beef with Chrysler Canada to express!
On November 3 this year, I arrived at a deal on a 2010 Ram R/T 4x2 regular cab. There weren't many options that I wanted and every single thing was in the brochure, e-mails from Chrysler and the official Dodge web-site and the deal was accepted by Dodge and the order placed. Both I and the dealer were excited to see the truck when it arrived.
The first thing I knew is that the truck was on hold for 6 days because an option wasn't available and then today, when I checked with the dealer, my truck has been put on hold again!
If Dodge had been up front back in November and told me they couldn't supply the truck I ordered I would never have made the deal! The dealer has been exemplary; it's Dodge which is at fault.
Based on the acceptance of the order by Dodge I turned in the car I had been leasing and decided not to buy it back. I drove my "toy", a reworked 1989 Mustang, much later (until today when the insurance period ended and a huge snow storm was announced for tomorrow.) than I normally do but now I am left with three options--none of which are particularly acceptable.
1) Forsake the deal and get my deposit back but be left without transportation and little chance of getting another vehicle I would want; I tried many types of cars when I started looking in October and the offers made were ridiculous and none of the dealers would even consider dickering or budging from their price. I even tried out of town and got the same rebuff. (Thought times were tough for the auto industry; the dealers still act as if it were the 70's.)
2) Wait until perhaps February 2010 or even later on the chance Dodge will finally make the truck; again without transportation! I have medical appointments almost every week and need transportation.
3) Get a 2010 Challenger that the dealer has; it is loaded but has an automatic and the 3.5 litre six and that doesn't appeal to me.
As I said, had Dodge been up front from the beginning, I would have kept my old car. I have snow tires for it and had modified it considerably and it was one of the best cars I have ever owned. It was a six speed standard to boot. It was a six but it really went. Much faster than a 3.5 litre Challenger. ( I don't understand why by adding the R/T package to a Challenger the price goes up astronomically and is way above that of a Ram R/T.) For a company that had to be bailed out, Chrysler's methods of dealing with customers I find very strange.
The dealer even told me today, after the fact, that Chrysler has downsized so much that any delivery takes way longer than the standard 6 to 8 weeks and there is nobody left in the organization to talk to to speed things along.
I don't know what to do and am damn mad; am going to phone Chrysler's Public relations department Wednesday morning and at least let them know how I feel.
2010 Ram owner (maybe!!)
P.S. Read in a Toronto daily paper of another horror story of how Chrysler financing really screwed a customer, although the dealer had been satisfied, at the end of a lease and did so despite the fact that the customer had already made a deal to get a 2010. What is Dodge doing? That's no way to sell cars or keep customers.
Sorry about the long rant but I am damn mad!
