2009 TRX Suspension/Ride quality

Hi, I just purchased a 2009 Ram TRX Truck with a Hemi Last week. Quite frankly, I am dissapointed with the ride. I have a bad back and this truck is a bit rougher and sharper on the bumps than I like or my 2003 quad cab was. Not real happy. I have gone to the dealer to ask what the differences in this truck and the standard SLT Quad cab. Is it the shocks causing the sharp ride or does this truck have different coils ? If its the shocks I should be able to change them out for the non-TRX shocks right ? Anyhow, as some of you that don't have back issues may not understand. This truck is stiffer compared to my 2003 and thats not what I wanted. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The dealer does not seem to be able to answer this..

It's been a while since i've worked at a Dodge dealer, but I think the TRX was an Off-Road package. As far as differences between your 2003 and the 2009, the 2009 1500's went to coil spring rear suspension from the old leaf spring suspension used previously. Usually, coils give a better ride than leafs.
