So with another forum bringing some attention to ink. It made me wonder. Who here all has some ink work done?

Post it up & show it off. Also don't leave us hanging, tell us who did the work, how old you were when you got it, why you got it, and how long you were in the chair.

I'll start.

My first tattoo, a Tribal Butterfly I drew w/Japanese Kanji, "High speed" on left representing my racing background in my family, and "Good Health" on right. Located on my left shoulder blade of course. Done by Stacy @ Skin Images on Hanover, PA. Took 1 hour.

My second tattoo. An Airbrush painting a rose (yet another design of mine). There is alot more that needs to be added to this piece. Right now it covers a pretty good area on my ribcage and hip. Being tattooed by Wayne @ a Built To Last Tattoo. Time in chair so far: 8 hours

Thanks and actually no, not that bad. That had been the second time I had that tattoo done. I have a friend of my brother try to do it the first time and he had a heavy hand and made it look like crap. Then I went to Wayne, who did the work in the pics and he had a very light hand and as you can see is pretty damn good.

It hurt more then the shoulder blade but not enough to make you cry. It was more annoying (like a bug bite or bee sting) then anything.

Wasn't able to get it finished as I was running late getting to the tattoo studio and I got one hell of a migraine. But, it's ok I'm in no rush and we left it off at a good point. I love it and can't wait to see how it looks completely finished.

Artist is Tiff George at Built 2 Last Tattoo off W Market St in York.

Update lily finished
