Hoping for some help with this one, I was going down the highway the other day and went to pass and when I stepped on the gas the truck fell on its face and it felt like it slipped out of gear. The check engine light comes on, and the then the truck felt like it was slipping in and out of gear (I would give it gas the RPM would raise and them the trans would shift back into gear hard) I got it off the highway and pulled over and checked the fluid and it was within the range for hot so that was good. I got it back home and hooked up the programmer to it to pull the DTC codes. I had also noticed in the past couple of weeks that the speedometer was acting funny at higher speeds, it was all good till I got above 50MPH or so and then the speedometer would start jumping around and go back and forth between 55 and 65 no matter how fast I went.

It read a P0734 and P0735 (4th and 5th gear ratios incorrect) so between this and the DTC codes I figured the best place to start it the speed sensors on the trans. So I replaced the input and output speed sensor on the trans as well as the ABS speed sensor on the rear Diff since I was under there and figured it would rule out one more thing in the process.

Cleared the DTC codes and hoping for the best, got in the truck and started driving and it started to do the same thing with the in and out of gear and the check engine light came on again, this time a P0700 code. (Transmission control system malfunction)

Any thoughts on the next step would be appreciated.
