Endplay on input shaft in 46rh

Hi guys, I just put the main case together on my 46rh trans and there seems to be little to no end play in the input shaft. book says .022-.091 but it moves mabye .020 if i push on the output shaft. Should I worry? I don't really want to tear this thing back down but If I need a different thrust washer or something I will. I did have to replace the rear drum because some dumbass (ok it was me) let it roll off my bench and it broke. could that change the stack height of everything? Any input would be helpful. thanks

You're still using 42RH specs. here's the correct specs.

INPUT SHAFT END PLAY CHECK



NOTE: Overdrive unit must be installed in order to correctly measure the input shaft end-play.
Measure input shaft end play Checking Input Shaft End Play (https://w05.dealerconnect.chrysler.com/service/mds2002/serviceInfo/en_US/90c070b4.htm) NOTE: If end play is incorrect, transmission is incorrectly assembled, or reaction shaft thrust washer is incorrect. The reaction shaft thrust washer is selective.
Attach Adapter 8266 - 5 to Handle 8266 - 8.
Attach dial indicator C-3339 to Handle 8266 - 8.
Install the assembled tool onto the input shaft of the transmission and tighten the retaining screw on Adapter 8266 - 5 to secure it to the input shaft.
Position the dial indicator plunger against a flat spot on the oil pump and zero the dial indicator.
Move input shaft in and out and record reading. End play should be 0.86 - 2.13 mm (0.034 - 0.084 in.) Adjust as necessary

4617161- Neutral 0.062" Thickness
4617162- Pink 0.085" Thickness
4617163- Yellow 0.103" Thickness
4617164- Orange 0.123" Thickness
4617165- Blue 0.139" Thickness
4617166- Black 0.157" Thickness
