When I first looked at my truck on the lot(used 08 Ram 1500 4xCab 4x4) I had wondered why it had the high mileage(almost 34K) for being so new. The used dealer told me that it was probably a corporate vehicle that Dick Poe Dodge had bought at auction. Well tonight it all came into view. I brought the little owners manual pouch in the house with me because I wanted to read a little, well when I tipped up the pouch the first two documents on the stack were a New Mexico Enterprise Rental self insurer green card and a New Mexico registration card registering it to a division of Enterprise Leasing Co. out of Albuquerque, NM. That would explain to me the small dings and scratches on it for it being so new. Anywho, RUBY is still a great truck and its in awesome condition for the mileage. The only qualms I have are the plastic bed liner, I have always hated them because they scratch up the sides of the bed where the outside bed liner lip rides. That will someday be removed and a trip will be taken up to Las Cruces, NM to the Line-X shop for a color match spray on liner. And, I was suprised when I noticed that the front left fog light had the lense completly busted out and the light bulb broken. I brought it up to my salesman and they are supposed to be ordering the new fog light.

Boomer do you live in Albuquerque? If so you might want to check in the yellow pages. There is a Rhino liner dealer here. They are on Wyoming Blvd, between Lomas and Central Ave. on the west side of the street. I had my truck lined there and they did a real good job. They were also $100.00 less than the local Line-X dealer even with the Line-X dealers $25.00 coupon.

Nope Im in El Paso, TX. How much did you pay if you dont mind me asking. I emailed Line-X for a quote but they never got back with me. Im kinda thinking of going with Line-X thought, due to there color matching because Im also thinking haveing the lower belt line of the body line to protect from rocks and road debris damage.

I paid $400.00 for the bed, tail gate and to have the liner come up and over the top of the box. The same thing here at Line-X would have been $500.00. But that being said I paid $400.00 for line-X on my last truck but that was in Tuscaloosa,Alabama.
In short price shop by phone. It can save you some $$$$'s

Your truck is barely broken in. My 05 has 107,000 trouble free miles. Mobil 1 at 5,000 mile changes, the 20" Goodyears went 75,000 miles, break pads went 85,000 miles. This has been more reliable than all the Toyotas that I previously owned. Here's hoping your truck gives you the same reliability.
