Fluctuating oil pressure

I have a 2008 1500 with a Hemi. The oil pressure's always been a bit above the middle indicator and since I've had the latest oil and filter change, it's been fluctuating by quite a degree. The gauge hasn't pegged on high or low. Is this normal? I've never seen an oil gauge fluctuate at all unless there was a problem.

I would start with the oil pump. See if that is going on you first.

Start with the oil pressure switch. See if oil is leaking through the connector.

Stupid question here. Did you or a quick lube change the oil? If quick lube did make sure the right amount of oil has been put in. Reason being is that when I had my 95 chevy the oil gauge would bounce around when I was low on oil. Just my 2 cent's.
