I've decided to trade in my F350 and go down to the half ton Dodge with the Hemi. I've tried to find anything I can on reliability and can't come up with much. Is there anything I need to be aware of thats problematic on these trucks?
I'll use the 4x4 alot and it will regularly tow about 7000lbs.
Thanks.

No opinions?
For what its worth I'm actually only towing about 5500lbs after adding it all up.

steer clear of the 08 ram with 4wd auto....lot of problems with it....believe me i am still waiting for a tow to the service department after we got 2 ft of snow.......4 wd went out....now won't start......checked other forum sites and found it is a regular problem.....my truck has 6000 miles and it was the first time I had used its 4wd....burns out wiring harness and several components when you put it in 4auto......if you get an 08 get the 4wd manual shift with either the auto trans or the standard.

Well, I wound up getting an 07 with no 4 auto.
These trucks definately are not built as heavy duty as the Fords, which is what I was the other vehicle I was considering. If I hadn't had such a bad experience with Ford over my F350 diesel I would have gone F150. But, its a nice truck and hopefully it will be dependable and durable.
