Remove this: (6 push pins)

This picture shows the grille removed, the directions say this is not necessary, that it's only to illustrate where all of the bolts are (but the grille is only held by four screws on top and two spring clips on bottom, fairly easy to remove). Remove screw #1. Using a magnetic socket or a socket with a piece of paper towel stuck in it remove screw #3.

Remove the fastener holding tab (#2) and open access panel.

Lift slide lock (#3) upward far enough to disengage it from the lock post (#2) intergral to the back of the front lamp unit housing (#4).

From front of vehicle, grasp outboard edge of lamp and pull straight forward to disengage the ball stud (#1) from the plastic grommet in radiator closure panel. Disconnect bulb and change the bulbs. Dual headlamp system bulbs just twist out, quad headlamp bulbs have covers over each bulb, then they twist out.

Thanks for the info on how to get to the headlamps. I looked very briefly yesterday and was going to have to find this out myself as well.
Does anyone know if our low beam are 9006? Also, do we have reversed polarity as most other current mother Mopar vehicles have? Do I need to use a bulb out warning relay when installing HID's?

Low beam are H11, my 9006 kit from the Jeep I'm assuming will not work. bummer. Does anyone know if they're reverse polarity?

Went to AutoZone the other day. They asked if it was a 2 headlight or 4 headlight system. I am not sure. Just in case anyone else was wondering. I have yet to figure out what this means. I am going to look in my manual to find the correct bulb number. Does anyone know what the difference is between the 2 and 4 headlight systems?

Nick, the difference is the number of headlights in the headlight housing. My BigHorn had the 4 headlight system. Meaning the high beam and low beam are different bulbs (like in the headlights of the truck in the banner pic above). This was an option. Just count the number of headlight bulbs you see in your housing...

Heads up on getting the the lights bulbs out ,The pic showing the gate is in the wheel well behind the headlight can ,, what where they thinking !!!
I had a 98 Ford F150 and it took about 5 min. to change bulbs , this damn time it took me a least an hour.
The pull gate in the Ford was accessed at the top , very easy , while the Dodge , you have to stick your hand up the wheel well and hope like hell you can feel it. What idiot designed that!!!
I think brain surgery would be easier .

Taking the lights of these takes 15mins per side max...open the wheel well flap, flip up the white plastic slide, remove the 2 bolts (the lower will fall down inside, but you can get it back when the light is out) pull the corner closest to the outside out first, then gently tug the grille side out on an angle and it will pop right out...no removing the grille or the upper piece at all...I orginally started removing everything also (I couldn't find anything on the net) and thought it was way to hard to just change a bulb...know I know it's really easy.
Putting a small piece of 2 sided tape in the socket end and sticking the bolt inside lets you lower it back in the hole...it works great.
The low beam (on a quad light system) is a H11 and the high beam is a 9005...I replaced them with PIAA ultra whites...way nicer.
Hope this info saves alot of cursing...I know I did alot at first...
