Hello from New Jersey. I have a 2005 Ram 1500 Thunder Road Edition QC SB with the 5.7L Hemi. She is the best! Look forward to speaking with some of you and using the site.

Welcome...like the truck...don't see many thunder road editions out there...well I haven't...I'm guessing it's a 2wd being a thunder road and all

Thank you. No, she's 4WD, but haven't had the chance to use it much.

Thanks. Last year I put on a Hellwig rear anti sway bar and Bilstein shocks and I just had a Magnaflow exhaust and a K&N CAI installed. I can't believe how great she sounds and rides!! I will post up some more pics later.

I changed my mind from the Flowmaster, because the Magnaflow is stainless and has a lifetime warranty.

So kalr21, you didn't say why you didn't like the Magnaflow anyway. Any reason?

for me the deep throaty signature flowmaster sound makes me happy ;) ;) and every GASOLINE<----(for 05smokincummins) engine ive heard with mags on it doesnt give me the cringe that i look for in an exhaust. so my truck mind you 05smokincummins is a gasoline and flows are the only way to go. and my 40 series flows sound just as good as they ever did and i got them off my grandpa.

It depends on the series of magnaflows ya get....some do sound better than others....but I gotta agree with kalr that the super40 flows do sound good....(kalr did you forget that I have 40's on the 7)

Well, I am convinced that no two magnaflows or two flowmasters sound exactly the same. I think mine has a nice deep sound, and since it's new I think it will only get better. I especially like the rumble at start up!

and no 05SC<---shortened the smokincummis lol, i didnt i love the sound of the flows and you do too because c'mon imagne the car with mags..........are you thinking????.........well i think it wouldnt sound no where near as good. and ill even rephrase it. carburated vechicles sound better with flows, and so does feul injection ;p lol

yeah i know no two mufflers sound the same but flows sound pretty darn close to one another to know what kinda of mufflers your runnin. i mean at car shows you just know whos runnin the flows just be that awsome little clink, like metal on metal clink of a flow.....ewww given myself goosebumps thinking of the sound lol.

Nice ride you have there and good choice on the Magnaflow. Hemi's sound great with Magnaflows on them on.

I tried a flowmaster 40 on my 96 Indy for 3months before I couldnt stand the sound any longer. That raspy hollow sound does nothing for me, cops werent fond of it either.
With hdrs, ypipe, magnaflow 3" cat & 3" muff side exiting infront of the rear tire it rocks. Nice deep bassy tone at idle light throttle and nice loud deep bark at WOT.

FYI, when you fry cats as fast as I do(2.5yrs max), chambered muffs are a waste of time. First chamber catback I had, plugged up when the oem cat failed. The last couple of cats to fail all dumped their loads out the side exit.
